Traces, explores the subtle, often invisible imprints left by our passage through life. These traces manifest in various forms—be it a well-worn path, a forgotten object, or a scar on the environment. In this work, I focus on the emotional and social remnants that resonate with personal experiences and emotions.
A fleeting moment can evoke a familiar memory—fragments that linger, traversing the realms of long-term memory and lived experiences. These moments exist in a liminal space between past and future, resurfacing with a sense of ambiguity. They embody the complexity of growing up and the evolving emotions we develop toward our personal histories.

Yet, the present constantly intrudes. New relationships are formed, often through subtle, almost imperceptible connections that bind us to kindred souls. These traces evoke both nostalgia and memory, guiding the formation of new connections through familiar, intertwined, and invisible threads.

By working in black and white, I emphasize the physical marks of light that emerge through the silver grains of film. Each stage of the process—from shooting to developing and printing—becomes an act of reclaiming my own experience, like light leaving his marks on the silver so dose memory imprinting his lesson on me. Shooting film may not be distant enough to be forgotten; many still use it to document their lives. The physical manipulation of each negative in the darkroom, with its risks of mistakes and the fear of failure, mirrors the uncertainties of life and the potential for personal growth.
